Tiquento · Account Deletion

Account deletion and deactivation

Effective date: 2 October 2026

Who can manage an account?

Tiquento is a business service. Individual user accounts belong to an organisation and are managed by that organisation’s authorised administrator. For this reason, the mobile app does not provide a self-service “delete my account” control.

How to request deactivation or deletion

  1. Contact your company’s Tiquento administrator and ask them to deactivate or remove your access.
  2. If you cannot reach an administrator, email admin@tiquento.com from your registered work email. Include your organisation name and the email address of the account. We may need to verify your identity and refer the request to the organisation, which normally acts as controller of employee expense data.
  3. An authorised organisation administrator may request deletion of an organisation account by emailing admin@tiquento.com from their registered administrator email. We may require further authority verification.

What happens when access is removed?

Deactivation ends the user’s ability to sign in and use the mobile app and Service. It does not automatically erase expense records, receipt files, approvals or accounting exports associated with the organisation, because those records may be needed by the organisation for accounting, audit, tax, legal or operational purposes.

Deletion of personal data

Requests for erasure are assessed under applicable law and the organisation’s documented instructions. Where Tiquento acts as processor, it assists the organisation under the DPA. We respond to verified requests within 30 days. When an organisation account is closed, its data is deleted within 90 days. Data that must be retained for a legal obligation, defence of claims, accounting, tax or security reasons may not be deleted immediately; billing records are kept for up to six years.
